September's Kids Quilting Class

Tonight's Class was full of "newbies" and they all did a terrific job!

September's KIDS Classes

Tonight was our first KIDS Class for Fall-Session- Katelyn, Megan & Anna (all 3rd year students) decided to make a "Disappearing 9-Patch" project. They did an amazing job!

                                

KIDS CLASSES--Fall Session Information

 Classes are going to change slightly from my original plan so that I can meet the needs of my students schedules and skill levels. So, this is how it's going to work...
I'm offering 2 Tuesdays and 1 Saturday a month. If your child is going to attend the "FALL" Session you will need to prepay for Sept., Oct., Nov. which is $65. This will cover the cost of the Project, Instruction, use of Machine and Snack & Drink.September's Class dates are Tuesday, September 8th or 22nd from 4-6:00 or Saturday the 12th 900-11:00, 11:30-1:30 or 2:00-4:00. Your child will get to choose between 2 projects, please let me know which they would prefer. September's projects are IPad/Book Cover or Sewing Machine Mat. If your child is a "first-year" student September's Project will be an Apron. Please contact me asap if your child is planning to attend, which day and which project. Thank you!!

Adult Quilting Class

Adult Class: Monday, September 14th 4:30-6:30. This pumpkin wall/table quilt is made with autumn colors, hand-dyed wool for stem & leaves and handmade fabric buttons--we will make a "scrappy" binding to finish it. School of Sewing now available at Vicky's Quilting Studio

BEGINNING SEWING 101 (Ages 13-Adult). This is a new Class with a new Curriculum and I'm very excited to be offering it this fall. This course is 6 Sessions for 3 hours each. We will be focusing on sewing skills that are needed for quilting or fashion...skills that will last a lifetime! Tuition for 6-Session Course is $140 which includes textbook, use of machine,seam ripper and small scissors. Project KITS will be available to purchase prior to class and are not included in tuition but will have a discounted prices. This Specialty Class will be offered in the Fall & Spring. Payment in full is due at registration. Students will receive a "Certification of Completion" and will have the opportunity to participate in the Spring 2016 "Quilters" Fair". Dates of 6-Sessions: September 14, 21, 28/ October 12, 19, 26 - All class times are 4:30-7:30. Registration is now open and Class Size is limited.
