Adult Sewing Class April 15th

I just finished a Sample for Tuesday's Adult Class--Sewing Machine Mat with 3 pockets to hold your scissors, seam ripper and theres even one for your chocolate stash :-)
The class includes the material for the project and the Pattern which has the Sewing Machine Mat, Pin Cushion & Small Ironing Board Cover. The cost is $20.

Homespun Sampler Block-of-the-Month

Homespun Sampler Block-of-the-Month--First 10 people to sign up will receive a FREE "Fat Quarter". 

April's 3 Blocks...

I am offering a 4-Month Block-of-the-Month program from April-July. Each month you will receive 3-Pre-Cut Blocks that are homespun material, $5 each block. 

In July you will have a total of 12 Blocks to put together to create a Sampler Quilt. 

Finishing Kits will be available. 

The last Tuesday of each month you can come and sew at my Studio (space is limited at this time) or they are easy enough for you to sew on your own. 

I will be happy to mail them to you each month for your convenience if that works better for you (addition $3 per month) or you are welcome to pick them up at a scheduled time.

The blocks are finished 12 inches.

"Honoring Our Military" Quilting Bee

"Honoring Our Military" Quilting Bee 

Would you like to help honor the brave Men & Women who serve our Country?
You are invited to take part in the First Annual “Honoring Our Military” Quilting Bee, which will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH REED CITY on Highway 10.
The Mission of this Quilting Bee will be to make Quilts that will be donated to the local School Districts to present to Veterans during their Veteran’s Day Program in November 2014.
Commitment:
Attend 4 Quilting Bee dates between May and November. Each date will be 4 hours and each person attending will complete at least 2 blocks. These quilt blocks will be precut and very simple to sew—easy enough for a beginner. Then we will assemble the quilt during each Bee.
Not to worry if you’ve never sewn before—there will be experienced ladies to help and there are machines available if you do not own one. Since food goes along with everything in life, feel free to bring a snack to share. Please contact me through my webpage quiltingstudio.net or Facebook if you are interested in taking part.
Cost: $5 per block. Donations will be taken for finishing materials.
Vicky’s Quilting Studio will donate all of the Long-arm Quilting Services.

Kids Sewing Class during Spring Break

"Kids Class" during Spring Break April 10th, 9-11:00. 

Does you child need something fun to do during Spring Break...did he/she miss one of the "Kids Classes" due to the bad weather..if so, sign up for the class on the 10th. The Kits that I have available are American Girl Doll Sleeping Bag, Pillow Case and Aprons. If your child has already made these 3 things then we can work on a different project. Class price is $20 which includes Project Kit, Machine Rental, Snack & Instruction.

"April Showers" Wall Quilt Kit available

Hello Quilting Friends!

Here is the April Wall Quilt. I have Kits available for purchase..$20 which includes all material for the top of the quilt and its precut. Finishing Kits (backing & binding) are available as well. During Spring Break, Wednesday, April 9th from 9-Noon (or longer) I will be giving a class on how to put this together. So if you are a little intimidated on trying it on your own then sign up for the class--no extra cost.
