Honoring Our Military Quilting Bee #1

Today was our first "Honoring Our Military" Quilting Bee

20 Amazing Ladies completed enough blocks to make about 2 1/2 Quilts that will be donated to Military Men & Women on Veteran's Day during our Local Schools Veteran's Day Programs.

Angie & Kelly completed their first 3 blocks that will be added to their very first quilt.

Mommy & Me Sewing Class--Summer Charm Bag

Here is the Summer Charm Bag that we will be making during our Mommy & Me Sewing Class.

How Eleanor Burns got Started Quilting

Hey Quilting Friends!

Here is a 3 minute video on how Eleanor Burns got started quilting.  I have to say that I REALLY do love Eleanor...I call her, "My Friend Eleanor" because I was fortunate enough to take a class with her and watch her "keynote" a couple of years ago in Shipshewana.
I DVR her weekly show and put my husband through the agony of watching her every chance I get.
She was once a School Teacher before her quilting career took off...there is hope for me yet!!
