Quilting Teacher Information

Looking for Some New Ideas for your Quilt Guild Meetings, Retreats or Conferences?
No need to look further---Now Booking for 2015-2016

Hello Quilting Friends!

My name is Vicky Bowman, I’m an elementary school teacher and teacher of the Art of Quilting. My favorite projects are those made with pre-cuts because they are fun, quick and easy! No more need to haul a dozen bolts of fabric to the counter to get small cuts and variety. We can now grab a Layer Cake, Jelly Roll or Charm Pack and be on our way! My Lecture & Demo  and Workshops focus on Pre-cut Fabric and the fun projects that you can make.

I live in Big Rapids Michigan with my husband Craig, daughter Ashlyn and Chocolate Lab, Annie. I have three grown Children, two Sons in the US Navy- Wade (wife Brianna) & Cody, both travel around the world but are currently stationed in the States. My Step-Daughter Emily (husband Phil) is a Medical Administrator in Columbus, Ohio.

I’ve been an avid quilter for over fifteen years so it was only natural that I would want to share this passion with others. I teach children and adult classes (beginning and intermediate skills) at my home Studio and now am available to teach at Guild meetings, retreats and conferences. I have earned two graduate degrees one in Education and the other in Educational Leadership and now I am working to become a Certified Teacher through the National Quilting Association.

I feel very blessed to be able to combine my passion of quilting with my love to educate others.

Please contact me if you would like to schedule me for your event.
